Callaloo is a Jamaican breakfast staple which is enjoyed most times boiled fruits and tubers such as Green Banana, Yam and boiled Dumplings. It’s also enjoyed with fried fruits such as Breadfruit and Plantains. Saltfish is sometimes added to Callaloo along with other vegetables like Tomato, Carrot, Cabbage and Sweet (Bell) pepper to add spice, variety and colour to the meal. Callaloo high Starch tuber is also rich in Dietary Fibre, Protein, Iron, Vitamins A and C.
